Yes you read that right.
Writing is a rewarding challenge. Some days, stories flow out of your head like water and you can’t wait to get it on paper. Other days, you don’t know what to write. You can’t make up your mind about anything.
I’ve kept a personal journal since I was 8 years old. I have always loved writing about my feelings.
I could never fully express myself when I talked so writing about my feelings has always helped me.
As I said in previous posts, I started blogging three years ago as a way to share my feelings and thoughts with others.
Journal writing is like talking to yourself, even though it is healing, I wanted to share my views with other people. Views that couldn’t be expressed in only 140 characters.
So I began this blog. Not knowing much but that I wanted someone to hear me. I wanted someone to know that it is OK to feel. It is OK to express your true emotions.
I come from a world where talking about your feelings or issues that you are passionate about, is sometimes frowned upon.
Your voice is held captive. Your thoughts may race day in and day out, but you can’t talk about it.
You are physically free, but mentally enslaved.
So I wrote. I write. I write to feel. I write to finally free my voice.
We write. As bloggers we take pride in our work. We write to reach out. We are grateful for every like, every comment, every follow, but we know that this is bigger than that.
We know the joy writing brings us. We know the power of our stories.
We are in this space together. Sharing our thoughts one word at a time.
We are write where we belong.
I have fallen off of the writing wagon since school started up, but this post inspired me! I nominated you for a sunshine blogger award and you can view that here. https://ramblingkori.wordpress.com/2016/09/09/sunshine-blogger-award-x2/

I agree with your post fully and I can understand everything, even feel it. Sometimes we have so many ideas to write upon that I feel like I can fill up a whole notebook and then there are days when I can even get a proper sentence to write.
I came to blogging world by chance after seeing the app on the Play store and since then, it’s been a marvellous journey. Getting likes, appreciation and motivation, it all feels so good. Keep writing. 👍

Thanks for reading. Yeah, I started out just writing in my personal journal and as I got older I’ve continued to chronicle my feelings and daily happenings.
