A few days ago I completed my Goodreads Reading challenge goal. On January 1st I entered the yearly reading challenge hosted by Goodreads. I set my goal at 15 books. I set it at 15 because I wanted to give myself some leeway because of school and work. I certainly didn’t imagine I’d get through 15 books in only 6 months, but here I am. Yaay! Challenge completed ✔. The fifteen books that completed my challenge are listed below. I have reviewed some of them as well.
- Violent Ends by David Hutchinson- My Review
- The Other Wes Moore by Wes Moore
- Redeployment by Phil Klay
- Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson
- The Yellow Birds by Kevin Powers
- A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara- My Review
- All American Boys by Jason Reynolds and Brendan Kiely
- Writing My Wrongs: Life, Death, and Redemption in an American Prison by Shaka Senghor
- A List of Cages by Robin Roe
- We Are Called to Rise by Laura McBride
- Half of A Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
- A Land More Kind Than Home by Wiley Cash
- A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah
- Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi
- Boy, 9, Missing by Nic Joseph
